History and Current Status

Noah’s Ark is a non-profit making Christian school, which was established by the Calvary Baptist church in 1997. The school started as a pre-school with 2 classes (i.e. 5 and 6 year olds) and 4 staff members. In 1999 Grade 1 was introduced and the school changed to become a preparatory school. The school was registered with North West Department of Education on the 8 November 2000 as a primary school; today the school caters for 370+ learners.

The purpose of the school is to provide the learners and the homes they represent with an opportunity to find Christ as their personal Saviour. It is an English Medium school, which caters for children in and around the Mmabatho area.

Presently the school has 18 classes. We are working to expand and open classes for secondary students. We will be changing our name to Noah’s Ark Academy.

Noah’s Ark is a Christian School that strives to educate children spiritually as well as assist with character building. We aim for excellence in all learning areas, and the children who have left our school are progressing very well at the new schools they attend.
